The Ladybird Way
Life Coaching Program
The Ladybird Way life coaching program is a series of 8 × 1:1 coaching sessions spread out over 4 months.
The cost of the program is $150 per session, due before the start of each session.
Sessions are 45 minutes, and take place via phone.

The sessions together accomplish the following 3 coaching program goals:
Reduce the frequency and intensity of autistic burnout.
Explore and define your ideal life—one in alignment with your values and needs.
Move your current life at least one step closer to your ideal life.
Each session follows a set agenda designed around one session goal:
Learn the process for identifying a personal value; identify at least 1 of your top 5 values.
HW: identify at least 4 more top values, and 5 supporting values.
Learn the process for identifying a life design “need”; identify at least 10 current needs.
HW: using the needs guide, identify at least 5 current needs in each area of your life.
Learn the theory of energy budgeting; identify where you’re “overspending”; identify whether the overspending comes from a values or needs mismatch, or both, and identify the mismatch. Learn how to ‘walk back the cat’ to identify triggers.
HW: over the next two weeks, use the energy budget to track your energy spending and identify instant energy depletion triggers.
Zoom in to the areas of your life where you’re overspending; prioritize areas to work on; identify small, medium and large changes that restore and protect your energy. Pick at least one small change to make before next session.
HW: make small change and reflect on the impact to your energy budget.
Learn the “best value” approach to solving large “unsolvable” problems. Pick one area of overspending which requires a large change to improve, and apply “best value” problem-solving approach to create options.
HW: apply the “best value” approach to other needed large changes.
Rank options created in session 5 according to how they align with the needs and values identified in sessions 1 and 2. Identify the top 2 options.
HW: journal on the top 2 options every morning until one floats to the surface as ‘the one’.
Create a plan with small steps, concrete milestones, and a target timeline to achieve one of the two top options. Identify how your life will improve and how you will feel once either option is achieved.
HW: finish the plan.
